Diploma in Early Childhood Education (In-Service)

Diploma in Early Childhood Education (Pre-Service)
- Mode: Pre-service, Full-time
- Duration: 2 years
- Goal: To prepare new teachers for effective teaching in early childhood settings.
Postgraduate Diploma in School Administration & Leadership (PGDSAL)
- Duration: 12 months
- Target Audience: Senior and head teachers
- Objective: To equip educators with advanced skills in school management and leadership.
Admission Requirements
- Eligibility: Practicing teachers for In-Service programs and Grade 12 school leavers for Pre-Service programs.
- Enrolment: Request an application form, fill it out with the necessary information, attach required documents, and submit it before the closing date of December 31.
- Application Fee: Submission of the application form along with necessary documents and a processing fee.
- College Tuition Fees:
- DECH Pre-Service: K4,200
- DECH In-Service: K6,600

Linnus Vairop (Mr.)
A professionally trained teacher, Mr. Vairop graduated from Madang Teachers College in 1980. With 15 years of primary school experience, he advanced from assistant teacher to headmaster and has taught at Mongop and Kokopo High Schools. He spent six years at OLSH Kabaleo Teachers College and founded Bismarck Teachers College, where he served as director for 16 years. He holds an honors degree, a Bachelor of Arts, and a Diploma in Education from UPNG. Mr. Vairop co-founded Bismarck College in 2006.
Joanita Tiling Vairop (Mrs.)
Mrs. Vairop graduated from St. Benedicts Kaindi Teachers College in 1984 and has taught in primary schools for 21 years, advancing to subject coordinator. She has also taught at Mongop and Kokopo High Schools. After five years at Bismarck Teachers College and six years at OLSH Kabaleo Teachers College, she earned a Master’s degree from Divine Word University, a Bachelor in Early Childhood from the University of Southern Queensland, and a Diploma in Education from Gaulim Teachers College. Mrs. Vairop co-founded Bismarck College in 2006.
